Combining Agilent oscilloscopes and MATLAB data analysis software enables engineers to confidently analyze, visualize and filter signals. The integrated capability makes these tasks easier and saves engineers time. The agreement between The MathWorks and Agilent enables users to obtain high-quality instrumentation and data-analysis software from a single source.

“Agilent customers get the benefit of a coherent, integrated software platform that lets them use Agilent equipment in the complete product-development lifecycle,” said Roy Lurie, vice president of engineering for MATLAB products at The MathWorks. “This combination gives them integrated analysis capability, which accelerates time to insight and time to market.”

“Many of our customers use MATLAB software, and it is extremely important to them,” said Scott Sample, vice president and general manager of Agilent’s oscilloscope business. “This agreement provides them with the convenience of purchasing a complete hardware and software solution from Agilent, and gives them more time to focus on the creation of high-quality designs.”

Agilent’s 5000, 6000, 7000 and 90000 Series oscilloscopes now have purchase options that allow customers to include task-optimized configurations of The MathWorks products:

The Agilent Option 061 MATLAB basic oscilloscope package provides an introductory software package for configuring and controlling Agilent instruments and performing basic signal and visualization tasks from the MATLAB environment.
The Agilent Option 062 MATLAB standard oscilloscope package adds functionality for filtering signals and analyzing signal processing schemes.
Agilent’s complete portfolio of oscilloscopes is available in a variety of form factors, with bandwidths ranging from 20 MHz to 90 GHz. These oscilloscopes offer industry-leading specifications and powerful applications.
