Madeline's Baptism

Madeline was baptized Sunday the 16th in Cheyenne. It was such a great day and we are grateful for Madeline and her good choices. We are also greafeful that we were able to have family and friends with us.

I only have a few pictures right now but I will add more as my mom e-mails them to me.

12 years!

Yesterday was our 12 year anniversary! Brig and I dated for almost 6 years before we were married so we have known Brig for a while now. We had a fun anniversary. We went to the Mona Lisa in Manitou Springs. (I thought this was appropriate since I actually got to see the real Mona Lisa this year.) We went to the Mona Lisa for my birthday once when we lived in Boise and we loved it. We had the best flaming turtle chocolate fondue. It was delicious and I felt horrible to leave any on the table but we ran out of things to dip.

After the Mona Lisa we walked around Manitou and found the "World Famous" penny arcade. I don't know if it should be world famous but they did have a Ms. PacMan game. Brig and I have been competing at the game for years! We used to compete at Frogger but I was just too good so we had to switch games. He always beats me at Ms. PacMan but it was still fun. The Ski ball was closed otherwise I could of have revenge (another of our favorite games.) We did decided that we need to go back there on our next date night. Tonight we are going to hook the the old Atari since we were so inspired by the old games!

There was some kind of festival at the park in the middle of town. Now sure what was going on but we had fun looking at everything.
In the 12 years that Brig and I have been married, we have had 3 great kids - each one born in a different state, both earned bachelors and master's degrees, had jobs that we have loved and hated, acquired a cat named big kitty, loud tree frogs, a fish, then Molly the dog, moved so many times that I have stopped counting including the states of Wyoming, Idaho and Colorado, gone to Europe twice, gone to Mexico twice, went on my dream trip to New York, and Brig has had the chance to travel to South America and all over Asia, and we have attended so many sporting events that there is no way to count them all.

I am grateful for the last 12 years but ready and excited for the next twelve!

First day of school

The kids went back to school on Tuesday! This is Zach's last year of Elementary!Times seems to be going so quickly. The summer flew by. We all had a great summer and did a lot of fun things but I think we are all ready for a routine again. Plus Zach is ready for handball at recess. Maddi seems to like her teacher so far and I am grateful that she has some of her friends in her class. Natalie went to her preschool orientation on Thursday and Monday the 24th is her first real day! She is soooo excited. Natalie's preschool is at Zach and Maddi's school. I will take pictures of her first day and maybe one day I will post them
