Welcome 2012! We started our Day with the family talking in church about reverence. Zach and Maddi did such a great job on their talks. I was so proud of them! Bruce and Diane came down to to hear our talks and take care of Ben and Natalie for us then we all had the traditional New Year's Dinner together which consists of Black Eyed peas and ham.
Black Eyed peas are said to bring good luck, good fortune, and
prosperity in the coming year. I made sure that Brig had a big big bowl of beans and saved another serving for him for later in the day :)
